On May 26, 2022, the total social inventory of stainless steel in the mainstream market nationwide was 914,600 tons, an increase of 0.70% week-on-week and a year-on-year increase of 16.26%.
Among them, the total inventory of cold-rolled stainless steel was 560,700 tons, down 3.58% week-on-week and up 25.11% year-on-year, and the total hot-rolled stainless steel inventory was 353,900 tons, up 8.30% week-on-week and 4.55% year-on-year.
This week, the stainless steel inventory in the Foshan market and Wuxi market is still showing a trend of destocking. The stainless steel inventory in the regional market is still increasing due to the obvious arrival of 400 series hot-rolled resources.
