Stainless steel exports: In March 2022, China’s total stainless steel exports totaled 379,700 tons, an increase of 98,000 tons or 34.80% month-on-month; an increase of 71,100 tons or 23.07% year-on-year. From January to March 2022, China’s total stainless steel exports were 1,062,100 tons, an increase of 191,400 tons or 21.99% year-on-year.
Stainless steel imports: In March 2022, China’s total stainless steel imports were 239,900 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 77,200 tons, or -25.32%; a year-on-year increase of 71,800 tons, an increase of 42.69%. From January to March 2022, China’s stainless steel imports totaled 944,900 tons, a year-on-year increase of 402,250 tons or 74.07%.
